There is no other way to state that sentence. Most weekends are spent cleaning house, taking care of things with my son and his father, and soon, going to little league basketball games
( tantrums and tears, here we come!).
After re-reading what I just typed, you would think that I work through most of my weekends...I do...But every once in awhile, the stars align just right, and I am able to take a time out just for me. And that's what happened this weekend.
I could wax on about what exactly I did, but a girl never gives up all the goods..especially secrets on how this weekend came to fruition I will leave some cookie trails into some of the things that my weekend involved...crumbs that is, not full cookies.
Having family over this week for the holidays? Make this dip. It is three ingredients. I came home with an empty plate. Nuff said.
Read this book. It's one of the sunshine books this year that the students can read. I tend to read a lot of their books each year, and so far, this one sticks out the most. We take so much for granted, and this close to Thanksgiving, we need to realize that everything we have is worth so much. Right down to the water we bathe in, drink, and wash our clothes in.
I found a new one to be addicted too.
Scandal. Watch. Watch again. Love.
Be well, and enjoy your Sunday, Joi
