The Last Time

So,
The last time I was here, I shared a video of a current obsession I was having. I had been watching the show "Weeds" and I really liked the theme song that they chose. As of late, I had to stop watching the show because of lack of time. I still think the song is quite relevant. More now then ever as I go through this year at work. "The man" constantly wants you to conform to what they think is best. I sum that up in one statement: BULLSHIT....
So whats been going on you ask?
Not too much. I still have the same every day stresses, like I am sure the rest of the world is having. Things like, Why is gas so much? Could I possibly sit in my house all day, and not use the car, therefore not waste any gas?  The cost of food is so high, can I go a week without buying anything? Why is my kid growing so fast, maybe if he would stop eating the food that cost so much....Yeah, shit like that. By the way, before someone calls "the people" on me, I feed my kid! Trust me, if I didn't he would aggravate me until I did.
I have also taken a shine to growing plants....(pause)...How is that going, you ask? Well, the mums in my house can't decide if they want to kill themselves outright, or tease me as they kill themselves slowly...I water them as often as possible. But I'm finding that if you don't water them every other day, they will croak. The elephant ears at my job are just gorgeous. It could be that you can get away with watering them, like, every three days or something like that. They could just respond really well to me yelling in my classroom. Or children not listening sometimes...I don't know what it is, but I'll keep doing what I'm doing.
Why did I just write a whole paragraph on plants?
Not sure...Maybe because I do not have much to say tonight, except read the new sub-headings under my blog title. The newest one is "Things To Come". I explain about some of the new types of post that I want to add to the blog weekly. Now, life tends to get in the way ( read: my job, my child, and sleep) and I may not be able to keep up with the schedule, but I am sure willing to try. Here is to a new start, to what I hope is a new and improved blog.
